Welcome to my newly designed blog
Hi, I'm Rebecca, but, if you're lucky I'll let you call me Bec. I like rainy days and make a fool of myself singing along in the car. I have a fabulous new husband and like to say 'YAY'. A lot. I'm a wedding and portrait photographer and absolutely love my job. Now that I've told you a bit about my story, allow me to capture yours.

Gah, where does the time go? I just can’t stay on top of it and it gets faster as I get older. Anyway, that’s not the point of this post. This post is to celebrate Steve and Tina. These guys are absolute champions and I had such a ball running around Milsons Point with them last week. They’re getting married in a couple of months and I have no doubt that the wedding will be one to remember. I’m so excited.

Steve and Tina, I’m so excited to get to know you and honoured that you picked me to photograph your wedding.

They brought their dogs along to the shoot. What was it they say never work with dogs or children? I think these guys would give that phrase a big giant run for its money and prove it wrong all over. They were champions.

This is Coco. She’s pretty much awesome.

I realise Steve has his eyes closed, but I love love LOVE everything this image says. They’re so happy it makes me smile every time I look at it.

Happy Mondays!

Well, it’s been a busy winter here at RDP and I have LOTS to share with you all, but for now, here’s a sneak peek from yesterday’s shoot. Enjoy!

Brent and Sarina are getting married in October. Last week we headed in to the city for some super fun shots and they brought their Ahh-mayzing little girl, Kayla. She’s so cute, I have to admit, I wanted to clone her and take one home for myself, except I didn’t think Pete would be very happy with that. Aaanndd, I don’t really know how to clone things. Is it like copy and paste?

Brent and Sarina, I can’t wait to shoot your wedding later in the year. It’s going to be a blast! Esp. if I’m allowed to play with Kayla. :-)

Pete, can I have one?

You might recognise this boy from such famous weddings as The Axon Wedding – Wedding of the century. Yah, that’s right, I just went there. You guessed it, Eddie is Pete’s brother. My Pete. So you know that their wedding in October is going to be Uh-mazing because he comes from a pretty awesome family and is marrying a pretty awesome girl. Last weekend, the whole fam was in Newcastle to send a wonderful goodbye to our brilliant older brother and his wife and baby Emily who are moving to Papua New Guinea for Richie to be an MAF pilot (I believe there were 17 of us staying in the same house at one point, yaha, his family’s that big) so I stole the two of them for their engagement session, much, I believe, to Eddie’s resistance. And just a note to all groom’s out there, he did admit at the end that “it wasn’t that bad”. ‘nuf said.

Guys, I know you’re family and all ‘dat, but I’m truly excited and honoured to be shooting your wedding later in the year. We’re all gonna have a blast together, but no promises I won’t be checking out the eye-candy that is your Best Man the whole time!! :-)

I love how happy they make each other. It’s almost infectious.

Ally, you’re so glam.

Now that boy has good genes!

Gasp! Smooches!
